Ascot Care - Matchday Sponsors
1820Foundation Rugby Charity Match
27th March 2016
Darlington Mowden Park v’s The Gorillas
Matchday Sponsor – Ascot Care
Leading North East care agency Ascot Care have today joined the growing list of corporate partners who are getting behind local Military charity the 1820 Foundation, by agreeing to be the official match sponsor for the Gorillas v Darlington Mowden Park curtain raiser, prior to the Newcastle Falcons crunch Premiership fixture against Wasps on Easter Sunday at Kingston Park.
With over 30 years’ experience in the care industry, and with a reputation for excellence in providing a professional, caring and reliable service in the provision of staff to hospitals, the mental health sector, nursing and residential homes, we are absolutely delighted to have acquired the support of Ascot at one of our flagship events.
Speaking about the Partnership, Gareth Nesbit who captains Darlington Mowden Park said “with the nature of the industry we operate in, we come across many veterans on a day to day basis. When the 1820 Foundation came knocking at our door, we didn’t have to think for very along about lending our support to such a fantastic cause. As a family run business with a very strong social conscience, this is the very least we can do. We just hope that the amazing North East rugby fans and public turn out in their droves to support such a worthwhile cause”
Although Gareth won’t be playing for Darlington Mowden Park on the day, he will be helping to coach what promises to be a strong Gorillas side against his current club.
Arun Malhotra, CEO of the 1820 Foundation said “Gareth and his family have been hugely supportive in our journey as a charity to date and its testimony to his commitment in supporting Veterans that he has agreed to provide sponsorship for our big day at Kingston Park. Similarly, we can’t thank Darlington Mowden Park enough for agreeing to provide their first XV as opposition for the Gorillas. This is truly a wonderful example of leading regional businesses, getting behind local causes.
