Healthwatch report

Springfield Lodge in West Rainton was recently visited by Healthwatch in Durham, who completed an independent report of their visit.

Their findings focus on people and theit experiences, so reports such as this are crucial in understanding how we can continue and improve our care service.

The findings of the report found that overall our residents at Springfield Lodge are happy with our service. Comments such as “I like that my room is my own space”, “it’s very clean” and “The outings are interesting and well organised were just a few of the positive comments made by our current residents.

Current the Gardens in Darlington is due a visit from their local Healthwatch team who may complete a similar report for further feedback on our service.

Our staff are thrilled to see their hard work and dedication to care being appreciated by our residents. We would like to thank them for engaging in this report and helping us to improve our current offer.
