Greenfingers

Residents of Springfield Lodge Care Home attended the dementia group with the community last month held at Jubilee Hall in West Rainton. This months theme was ‘Greenfingers’, yes you’ve guessed it, they were potting up their own pansies and violas which was much enjoyed as many of our residents have been keen gardeners in the past. Our residents really enjoyed being able to pot up their own plants and display them back in Springfield Lodges courtyard for everyone to admire and found this a very rewarding activity.
