Outings this week

Resident’s of St Annes’s are taking a bus trip to the discovery museum this Thursday 23rd May. The residents will tackle all sorts of activities, testing themselves with the challenges and games the museum has to offer, which is all good fun along with helping elderly patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s to use sensory activities to stimulate the brain, allowing them to relax and communicate.

Music is also an important therapy and helps elderly residents bring back memories and relax. St Anne’s resident’s will be taking their weekly trip to the Jazz club held at The Crescent Club in Cullercoats this Wednesday 22nd May where they can enjoy some old classics, dance and have a sing-a-long.
