Happy 100th Birthday to Isobel!

This month we said Happy 100th Birthday to our beautiful Isobel.

A wonderful day was had and she even taught her son John some dance moves.

A FORMER land girl who survived Covid at the age of 99 has celebrated her 100th birthday with a dance with her son. 

Isabel Jameson, from Darlington, celebrated the landmark birthday on December 11 at The Gardens nursing home in Ponfield Close.

John Jameson, her only son, said: “How many sons can say they got to dance with their mam on their 100th birthday? It was fantastic.

"She had a really good day. All the staff made a big fuss of her.”
