Residents and care staff from the Gardens have been dancing and singing along to singer Paul Brown, who visited the care home site to entertain residents.

Well done to Paula and Jane from Springfield Lodge, who have recently set out to encourage new recruits into the care sector on behalf of Durham County Council.

Our residents have thoroughly enjoyed reading letters sent from pupils at Duchess High School. This gesture of letters has proven to be hit amongst our residents, with some set to write replies to the pupils.

Our team at Westoe Grange in South Shields would like to thank the team at Asda in South Shields for their kind donation of face masks.

To keep cool in the sunshine over the past week, our residents at St Anne’s in Whitley Bay enjoyed a refreshing ice cream.
