Friday 26th June was a very special day at Springfield Lodge, as well as the annual care home open day it marked a very special inaugural occasion as the very first David Day.

Last week saw us graced with some very hot days meaning our residents enjoyed the outdoors and some ice cream to cool down.

There’s a new competition taking place at Westoe Grange in South Shields with our residents planting their own sunflower seeds to see who’s will grow the fastest and biggest!

Our residents have been keeping themselves entertained with lots of games, wordsearches and jigsaws with everyone joining in on the fun.

Our residents at the Gardens care home in Darlington have come together to create wonderful pom poms as well as our resident Majorie playing the organ in the lounge for all to enjoy.
