The BBC visits Springfield Lodge Care Home in West Rainton, County Durham, to film footage featuring Residents for the “Sharing the Joy of Christmas” episode of Songs of Praise, which aired on BBC One on 17 December 2023.

The Sunderland Echo also wrote a piece ahead the BCC’s crew arrival to film the collaborative nativity performance by Residents and children form the local primary school.
