International Nurses Day 2023

International Nurses Day is celebrated today around the world every year on May 12th, held on Florence Nightingale's birthday.  Florence Nightingale, was the founder of modern nursing, in recognition to her lasting impact on the profession.

Each year there is a 'theme'. In 2023, it is 'Our Nurses Our Future'.

Head of operations Michelle Lovelace said “This is a designated day to say a massive thank healthcare employees for their hard work everywhere, but in particular we are incredibly proud of our nurses at Ascot and the levels of care they provide to our clients, likewise we are looking forward to  celebrating Carers Week which will be taking place this year from 5-11 June”
